Whatever the year
The time is now.
Happy NOW!?!?!
The first annual Yule Festival of Poetry went down a treat amongst the rushing christmas shoppers. We achieved our target of more poets than punters in the marketplace. We read under the Poet Tree sat around the fire, drank mulled wine, and warmed our blood with poetry and songs. A big thanks to all.
Please
don’t assume to consume is human.
To savage, violate, destroy,
a mere satanic bypass
of strong hearts
beating love of life.

NOVEMBER DEAD MOON BARE TREES THE SUN SHINED IN SHORT BURSTS ENOUGH FOR HURLING ON THE HEATH .
CRONE
Despite your knarled and twisted face
icy breath and thunderous roar
beneath your mourning shroud
brooding, in your winter womb
a new year’s beauty blooms.
The organising of the poetry festival is flying along. A BIG THANKS TO ALL THE POETS AND SUPPORTERS We now have 30 poets and plans to decorate the stall and surrounds.
